Hands of Hope Earrings (Copper Pearls)

HANDS OF HOPE

This unique creation offers many interpretations including the designer’s vision as the “Hands of Hope”.  Each “hand’ offers a freshwater pearl – the Stone of Health and inner peace.  These “hands” also represent the “Hamsa”.

A hamsa is an amulet shaped like a hand, with three extended fingers in the middle and a curved thumb or pinky finger on either side. It is thought to protect against the “evil eye” and is a popular motif in both Jewish and Middle Eastern jewelry.

The traditional meaning of the  pearls is:

Pearl:    This is the “Stone of Health” – it brings inner peace.  It represents innocence and purity, and it enhances endurance and emotional stability. It is said to benefit the lungs.
