This charming pair of earrings is composed of two types of seed – carved Salwag seed and Buri Seed tubes.  Salwag seeds come from the salwag palm tree in the Philippines and Buri seeds come from the Buri palm which is also native to the Phillipines but is also found from India to Malay.  Buri seeds are frequently used in rosaries.
